We are looking for a responsible and skilled Forklift Operator to safely operate forklifts for loading, unloading, shifting, stacking, and organizing materials within the warehouse or facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for material movement.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and storage areas.
- Move, stack, and arrange materials at designated locations.
- Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Conduct basic daily checks of the forklift before operation.
- Follow all safety rules, warehouse procedures, and operating guidelines.
- Maintain proper stacking and storage of materials.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for smooth material movement.
- Report any forklift malfunction, damage, or safety issues immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and safe working conditions in the operating area.
- Follow instructions from the Warehouse / Operations Supervisor.
- Maintain basic records of material movement when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator is preferred.
- Valid forklift operating licence/certification as applicable.
- Good knowledge of forklift safety and warehouse procedures.
- Ability to handle and move heavy materials safely.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a warehouse environment.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
