We are seeking a techno-functional professional with 6 years of experience in financial risk management within the banking domain. The role involves end-to-end project delivery, including client engagement, requirement gathering, solution design, and working closely with technical teams to implement automation-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of banking and risk processes, combined with the ability to translate business requirements into technology-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement & Consulting

- Interact with banking clients to understand their risk management frameworks, challenges, and business needs
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Provide consulting inputs and solution recommendations aligned with best industry practices
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams

2. Solution Design & Delivery

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution blueprints
- Work with technical teams to design and implement automation-led solutions
- Drive end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and client expectations are met
- Support development of risk models, data frameworks, and reporting/analytics solutions

Data & Risk Understanding

- Analyze large datasets and understand data structures relevant to banking risk
- Ensure appropriate data mapping, validation, and transformation logic
- Contribute to data-driven decision frameworks for risk management

4. Collaboration & Implementation

- Collaborate closely with technology teams (developers, data engineers, architects)
- Participate in solution testing, UAT support, and implementation
- Ensure delivery aligns with client expectations and regulatory requirements

5. Knowledge & Practice Development

- Stay updated on regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel norms, IFRS 9, credit risk, market risk, operational risk)
- Support thought leadership, proposals, and solution development
- Contribute to building internal capabilities and reusable assets

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

- Strong understanding of banking and financial risk domains
- (Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Operational Risk, IFRS 9, Basel frameworks)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions
- Experience in data analysis and working with structured/unstructured data

Techno-Functional Capabilities

- Hands-on exposure to:
- SQL / Python / SAS / R (any one or more)
- Data tools / BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Risk systems or analytics platforms (preferred)
- Experience working with automation, data transformation, or analytics implementations

Consulting & Soft Skills

- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Problem-solving mindset with structured thinking
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced consulting environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in consulting firms / banking / financial institutions
- Exposure to risk transformation, regulatory projects, or digital initiatives
- Understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, or cloud platforms
