Job Title: Team Lead R2R / General Ledger

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead – R2R / General Ledger with strong hands-on experience in end-to-end R2R, GL accounting, month-end close and financial reporting. The candidate should have experience working in a captive/GCC or product-based organization and should be comfortable handling global finance processes and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) and General Ledger activities.
- Drive month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities within agreed timelines.
- Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepaids, depreciation, fixed assets and other GL activities.
- Handle Balance Sheet reconciliations, P&L; review and variance analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting as per applicable accounting standards.
- Manage Intercompany accounting, reconciliations and settlements.
- Review CapEx accounting and controls, including capitalization, depreciation and related GL activities.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal financial controls.
- Identify accounting issues and provide appropriate technical accounting solutions.
- Coordinate with AP, AR, FP&A;, Tax,



Treasury and other finance teams for smooth closure.
- Support internal and external audits and provide required schedules and explanations.
- Lead process improvement, standardization and automation initiatives.
- Manage, guide and mentor team members and ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Interact with global/onshore stakeholders and manage escalations effectively.

- CA qualification is mandatory.

- Prior team handling/people management or team coordination experience is required.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
