Role & responsibilities:

HLBR Corp. (Legal Name: HLBR Digital Commerce Private Limited) operates Bypod, a hyperlocal delivery marketplace launching in Lucknow. As a registered e-commerce operator, we have specific compliance obligations including TCS (Tax Collected at Source) collection and GSTR-8 (Goods and Services Tax Return 8) filings that sit at the core of this role. We are building our finance function from the ground up and looking for a Finance Executive to own day-to-day money flow and GST (Goods and Services Tax) compliance, working alongside our retainer Chartered Accountant who provides statutory sign-off.

- Own and maintain the books in Zoho Books invoicing, reconciliation, ledger accuracy
- Prepare and file GST returns: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-8 (e-commerce operator TCS return)
- Handle TCS reconciliation and Section 194-O TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) compliance
- Reconcile GSTR-2B for input tax credit
- Manage vendor payments and payment cycles
- Run payroll inputs via Zoho Payroll PF (Provident Fund), ESI (Employees' State Insurance), professional tax, TDS on salaries
- Prepare monthly MIS (Management Information System) and financial reports for management




- Coordinate with the retainer CA for statutory audit, ROC (Registrar of Companies) filings, and income tax
- Maintain clean, audit-ready financial records

Preferred candidate profile:

- 3-7 years in a finance/accounts role
- Hands-on Zoho Books experience (SAP / Tally also acceptable, Zoho preferred)
- Solid, demonstrable GST filing experience — GSTR-1, GSTR-3B; GSTR-8 / e-commerce operator experience is a major plus
- Working knowledge of TCS, TDS, and payroll statutory compliance
- MIS preparation and reconciliation discipline
- B.Com / M.Com; CA-Inter or equivalent a plus
- Strong attention to detail and audit-mindedness
- Preferred: prior experience at an e-commerce operator, marketplace, aggregator, or logistics platform
- This is a permanent role. The initial period is on probationary terms; on successful confirmation, the position converts to permanent with full statutory benefits (PF, ESI, gratuity) and standard notice terms.

Salary - 3-5.5 Lacs P.A .
