Role Description The Finance Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing financial operations for designated properties and corporate entities within the Ramee Group. The role includes managing accounting processes, preparing and reviewing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.

The Finance

Controller monitors cash flow, controls costs, and supports strategic decision-making by providing accurate financial analysis and performance reports to senior leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve coordinating audits, improving financial systems and controls, guiding local finance teams,



and collaborating with operations, procurement, and management to optimize profitability and support the group’s expansion plans.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including experience with general ledger management, month-end closing, and preparation of financial statements.
- Candidates should possess budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning skills to support property-level and corporate decision-making.
- Candidates should possess expertise in internal controls, compliance, and audit coordination, with the ability to implement and monitor robust financial policies and procedures.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in financial analysis, cost control, and cash flow management, ideally within the hospitality or service industry.
- Candidates should possess advanced skills in financial software and ERP systems, along with strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
- Candidates should possess effective communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills to work closely with operations and leadership teams.
- Skilled qualifications such as CA, CMA, CPA, or an equivalent finance/accounting degree are highly beneficial, along with prior experience as a Finance Controller or in a senior finance role.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality finance, familiarity with multi-property environments, and a track record of driving process improvement and efficiency are desirable.
