We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Controller to lead the Finance & Accounting function.

- The ideal candidate will be a C.A, a strong qualified Accountant with the ability to understand all the accounting, control, banking, business processes leading to P&L;, Balance sheet and Cashflow.
- Will have overall responsibility for Accounting, Budgeting & controls.
- Should have handled banking operations and implemented complete automation and integration of banking transactions.
- Must have implemented Fee processes and controls in the ERP environment, including integration with CRM, Payment gateway and Financing partners .
- Should be well versed with Student ERP, MS Excel, Tally, Zoho Books and other Academic ERP solutions for finance.
- The candidate must possess hands-on compliance routines of all applicable tax laws and regulations applicable to the education sector.
- The candidate has to be a good team player with humility, service orientation and integrity.

We are looking for a candidate from the edtech/education sector. Quick Snapshot - Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Developing Budgets and financial strategies to monitor Revenues, control Costs and utilisation of Assets, which support growth of profitability.

Financial Reporting & Audit co-ordination : Deliver accurate financial statements and reports for management regular statutory audits.

Risk management: identifying and managing financial risks that could impact the Institutions’ performance. This may involve implementing risk mitigation strategies and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Treasury management: overseeing the management of the company's banking operations,



including cash flow and working capital requirements.

Financial analysis: conducting financial analysis to provide insights into the organisation's performance, profitability, and efficiency, including assessing the financial impact of key decisions.

Strategic decision support: providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making by the executive team and the board of directors.

Compliance & Risk: Ensuring compliance with financial laws, regulations, and tax planning.

Team Leadership: Mentoring the finance/accounting team and fostering a culture of excellence.

Stakeholder Management: Managing relationships with internal School Heads, banks, auditors, vendors and stakeholders.

Key Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. Certification in ERP or Accounting Systems’ implementation is an added advantage.
- 15+ years of accounting, budgeting, banking, tax compliances, finance systems integration, financial software implementation,.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, systems, and reporting with excellent data analytical skills.
