Field Officer & Zonal Data Captain
Own a zone end to end convert the businesses, then run the recordings
We're building one of India's largest commercial video data collection networks. Every hour of that footage starts with someone walking into a business and getting an owner to say yes and ends with the same person standing on site, camera running, making sure the day goes smoothly.
This is one role with two halves. In the first, you build the business pipeline for your zone: finding owners, converting them for on-site video data collection, and pushing into current towns and industrial clusters. In the second, you show up on recording day, set up the equipment, guide the business through the shoot and keep the footage coming.
You run the territory like your own business. The better you get at reading a corridor, the more you convert and the higher your rate per lead climbs.
What you'll earn
30,000 fixed salary
6,000 travel allowance
Uncapped incentives
Per month, paid regardless of incentives
Per month, on top of salary
Calculated daily, paid monthly
At a steady 15 conversions a day, on-target earnings work out to roughly 66,000 a month and a strong month goes past
What you'll do
Build the business pipeline
- Convert current businesses every day for commercial video data collection, and stack your daily count to unlock higher earning slabs
- Go where the value is: factories, manufacturing units, workshops, service centres, commercial kitchens, warehouses, printing and packaging units, facility management operations. Multi-worker and two-shift environments pay off most
- Complete the conversion form fully and accurately for every business, the same day
- A converted business means a real, reachable business that is scheduled and ready for recording
Scout and expand your territory
- Map and open up the nearby towns and industrial clusters assigned to your zone
- Spot new commercial categories and corridors with high recording potential before anyone else does
- Build corridor-level knowledge: which streets, estates and clusters hold the densest concentration of qualifying businesses
Run recording day
- Visit the commercial spaces you converted and install the video recording equipment
- Guide owners and staff through the recording process so they capture clean day-to-day operational footage
- Manage and monitor equipment usage across your zone, and keep devices accounted for
- Resolve owner concerns, access issues and scheduling conflicts on the spot
- Keep your internal coordinator updated daily on pipeline status, scheduled recordings and on-ground issues
- Maintain the relationship: a business you convert should stay warm right through its recording cycle
How incentives are counted
1. What counts as a verified lead. A real, operating business at a physical address, with a named decision-maker whose mobile number is confirmed by call and physical visit, plus a geo-stamped photo of the premises taken in the app. All tasks must be verifiable.
2. Every lead is verified. Any fabricated or fake detail voids the incentive for that week.
3. Eligible categories only. Only businesses submitted on the form, from the categories listed in the goal sheet, count towards incentives.
4. No duplicates. Leads are matched on phone number, bank details and location.
5. Quality, not just volume. Every business submitted must allow recording at the location. Each denial carries a 2,000 deduction, so convert businesses that are genuinely ready.
6. Chains and multi-outlet businesses. Each outlet counts separately only if it is a distinct physical location with its own decision-maker and contact number. Outlets sharing one number or address count once.
7. Disputes. Raise a disagreement within 7 days; an independent reviewer will assess it.
8. Calculation basis. Incentives are calculated on daily performance and paid monthly.
What we're looking for
- A localite. Native fluency in the local language of the zone, plus working English or Hindi. Mandatory.
- At least one year as a Field Sales Executive, Business Development Executive or an equivalent field-facing role.
- An existing network of business owners in the region. You should be able to name and reach real owners in your territory this comes up in the interview.
- Own vehicle and a valid driving licence. Compulsory.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, and comfort walking into a business cold
- Basic technical understanding of devices and equipment, enough to install a camera and talk an owner through it
- Problem-solving and coordination instincts recording days rarely go exactly to plan
You'll love this role if you are
- A field sales or vendor acquisition professional who closes face to face
- Energised by being on the road across your zone every day
- A high-ownership operator who treats their territory like their own business
- Someone who wants earnings tied to output, with no ceiling on a good month
