1. Review the assigned TT, route information and work instructions before starting restoration or planned splicing work.
2. Identify the correct cable, tube and fibre cores using available records and tests, and confirm doubtful identification before cutting or changing connections.
3. Prepare cables and fibres through controlled stripping, cleaning, cleaving and fusion splicing, protecting unaffected fibres throughout the work.
4. Arrange fibre routing, sleeves and slack correctly in joint trays; label and seal enclosures to maintain protection and traceability.
5. Perform Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR), continuity and optical power testing as applicable, including both-end testing where required.
6. Assess test results, rectify unacceptable joints or losses, and communicate unresolved technical issues to the O&M; engineer.
7. Prepare splicing charts, joint details and test records linked to the circuit, location, date and TT, and submit them for network-record updates.

Coordinate with NOC and the client-side team during testing and restoration; report completion with evidence rather than closing service incidents independently.
9. Guide splicing technicians and labour on cable preparation, enclosure work, tool handling and secure site arrangements.
10. Check and maintain the splicing machine, cleaver, electrodes, OTDR, inverter and tool kit, and report calibration, repair or consumable needs.
11. Follow approved field safety and weather-protection arrangements; keep the work area and fibre waste controlled.
12. Submit daily progress, material consumption, pending work and equipment-condition updates, and hand over unfinished work clearly.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹34,000.00 per month
