The F&B; Service Associate is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and qualified food and beverage service to hotel guests. The associate ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining service standards, cleanliness, and proper coordination with the kitchen and other hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and greet guests in a warm and professional manner.

- Present menus, explain food and beverage items, and answer guest queries.

- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.

- Serve food and beverages according to established hotel standards.

- Set up and clear tables, side stations, and service areas.

- Ensure proper mise-en-place before the start of service.

- Check guest satisfaction during and after the meal.

- Handle guest requests and complaints politely and promptly, escalating issues when required.

- Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, stewarding, and other departments for smooth service.

- Prepare and present bills accurately and handle payments according to hotel procedures.

- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and grooming standards at all times.

- Follow food safety, health, and safety regulations.

- Replenish service equipment, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other supplies.

- Assist with banquets, room service, events, and other F&B; operations when required.

- Minimize wastage and handle hotel equipment and supplies responsibly.





- Maintain knowledge of the hotel's menu, promotions, facilities, and services.

- Perform any other duties assigned by the F&B; Supervisor or Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum qualification: 10+2; a diploma/certificate in Hotel Management is preferred.

- Previous hotel or restaurant experience is preferred; freshers may also be considered.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Guest-oriented attitude and professional appearance.

- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.

- Ability to work effectively in a team.

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced workplace.

- Basic computer/POS knowledge.

- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
