Job Summary

Diya Collection Boutique is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Fashion Designer Intern to join our team in Madurai. This is a good chance for fashion design students or freshers who want practical experience in ethnic wear, blouse designing, tailoring, embroidery and garment design.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior fashion designers with daily design work.
- Create and develop new blouse and ethnic-wear designs.
- Assist with pattern selection, colour combinations and fabric selection.
- Prepare basic sketches and design references.
- Assist in developing bridal, trendy and customized blouse designs.
- Coordinate with the tailoring and stitching team for design execution.
- Assist with Aari, embroidery and embellishment design concepts.
- Help with measurements, fitting and design modifications.
- Maintain design samples and references.
- Follow current fashion and ethnic-wear trends.
- Support the team in creating new collections and customized customer orders.

Skills Required




- Basic knowledge of fashion designing and garment construction.
- Interest in ethnic wear and blouse designing.
- Basic knowledge of fabrics, colours and patterns.
- Creative thinking and good attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn tailoring, blouse designing and embroidery techniques.
- Basic computer/design software knowledge is an advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Eligibility
- Fashion Designing students or fresh graduates.
- Diploma / Degree / Certificate in Fashion Designing preferred.
- Freshers are welcome.
- Candidates from Madurai and nearby areas are preferred.
