Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in BigQuery, Dataproc, PySpark, DBT, and Python, along with experience in building scalable data pipelines and optimizing data workflows for analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using GCP services.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes using PySpark, Python, and DBT.
- Develop and manage data warehousing solutions using BigQuery.
- Create and execute batch and distributed data processing jobs using Dataproc.
- Implement data transformation, modeling, and testing frameworks using DBT.
- Optimize query performance, data storage, and processing efficiency in BigQuery.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Data Scientists,



and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are met.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide performance tuning recommendations.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and best practice implementation.

Technical Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL development.
- Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on expertise in:

- BigQuery

- Dataproc

- PySpark

- DBT (Data Build Tool)

- Python
- Experience in designing and developing large-scale data pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts.
- Experience with BigQuery performance tuning and optimization.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and version control tools such as Git.
- Experience in handling structured and semi-structured data.
