ETP Plant Operator

We are hiring an ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) Operator for our organization. The candidate should have basic knowledge of wastewater treatment plant operation, machine handling, electrical systems, and chemical dosing processes. The operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring ETP plants, maintaining proper treatment processes, and ensuring smooth plant performance.

Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) systems properly and safely.
- Perform plant start-up and shutdown operations.
- Monitor pumps, motors, valves, agitators, blowers, and other ETP equipment.
- Have basic knowledge of Single Phase and Three Phase electrical connections.
- Understand the basics of motors, switches, MCBs, contactors, and overload relays.
- Monitor wastewater treatment processes and plant operating parameters.
- Operate chemical dosing pumps and maintain proper chemical dosing as instructed.
- Handle and monitor processes such as aeration, sedimentation, filtration, and sludge management.
- Check pH, TDS, turbidity, and other water quality parameters as required.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and plant-related issues.




- Maintain proper chemical levels and report any abnormalities.
- Conduct regular plant cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Follow safety rules, chemical handling procedures, and company instructions.
- Maintain daily ETP operation reports, logbooks, and chemical consumption records.
- Report any breakdown, leakage, or abnormal plant condition to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for regular servicing and repairs.

Requirements
- Basic knowledge of ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) operation.
- Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.
- Knowledge of Single Phase and Three Phase electrical systems.
- Understanding of pumps, motors, blowers, valves, and chemical dosing systems.
- Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment processes.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting.
- Responsible, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to work in a team and follow company instructions.
- Willingness to work at different project locations, if required.
- Fresher candidates with basic knowledge can also apply.

Salary ₹8,000 – ₹15,000 per month, depending on experience, technical knowledge, and skills.
