Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an ETL Specialist at PPStack. The ETL Specialist will design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to support data-driven learning platforms, analytics, and operational reporting.

Day-to-day responsibilities include extracting data from multiple sources, transforming it according to business and analytics requirements, and loading it into data warehouses and other target systems. The role involves collaborating with product, data, and engineering teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance, as well as documenting processes and optimizing existing workflows.



The ETL Specialist will also help troubleshoot data issues, contribute to data modeling efforts, and support new features and initiatives across PPStack’s EdTech and digital solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Apache Airflow, dbt or similar).
- Solid understanding of Data Modeling concepts, including dimensional modeling and schema design.
- Experience in Data Integration from diverse sources such as APIs, databases, flat files, and cloud platforms.
- Practical experience with Data Warehousing technologies and architectures (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse).
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python) for data pipeline development.
- Familiarity with cloud data services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stack tools is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills with attention to data quality and security.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in remote, cross-functional teams and manage tasks independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
