Job Purpose:

Responsible for the preventive and breakdown maintenance of hospital electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, medical utility and other engineering systems to ensure protected and uninterrupted hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and utility systems.
- Attend breakdown complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor DG, UPS, electrical panels, pumps, compressors and other utility equipment.
- Maintain hospital infrastructure, equipment and engineering installations.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment failures.
- Maintain maintenance logs, checklists and breakdown records.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service agencies for specialized repairs.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards,



statutory requirements and NABH guidelines.
- Follow electrical, fire and workplace safety procedures during maintenance activities.
- Support emergency maintenance requirements, including 24×7 critical hospital services.
- Maintain adequate tools, spare parts and consumables required for routine maintenance.

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or relevant Engineering discipline.
