- Hands-on experience with stamping press operations
- Knowledge of press machines and press shop production
- Solid understanding of stamping dies / press tools
- Die setting and changeover experience
- Knowledge of blanking, piercing, bending, forming, drawing and trimming
- Ability to troubleshoot stamping defects
- Understanding of sheet-metal grades, thickness and material behaviour
- Experience with die trials and tool setting
- Knowledge of production parameters, rejection, rework and downtime
- Experience handling press-shop operators
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, OEE, quality and safety
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerance
