Purpose/Objective The Lead EMS/SCADA will be responsible for the design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of Energy Management Systems (EMS) and SCADA solutions for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

The role will drive system architecture, control strategies, monitoring solutions, and communication interfaces to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and grid compliance.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Lead EMS and SCADA system design for utility-scale BESS projects.
- Develop system architecture, control philosophies, and operational strategies.
- Design and configure SCADA applications, HMI screens, alarms, and reporting dashboards.
- Integrate EMS with BMS, PCS, SCADA, PPC, weather stations, meters, and utility systems.
- Define communication architecture using industry-standard protocols.
- Develop energy optimization, peak shaving, load shifting, and frequency regulation strategies.
- Coordinate with Electrical, PCS,



Controls, Cybersecurity, and Commissioning teams.
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and site performance validation activities.
- Ensure grid code compliance and utility communication requirements.
- Analyze operational data and recommend system performance improvements.
- Manage EMS/SCADA vendors and review technical deliverables.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical support during project execution.

Qualifications and Experience

- B. E.

/B.

Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Computer Science, or related discipline.

- M. Tech in Power Systems, Control Systems, Energy Systems, or Automation preferred.
