Enforcement Detection Analyst, YouTube, Trust and Safety Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Overview YouTube's Trust & Safety team is dedicated to making YouTube a protected place for users, viewers, and content creators worldwide. This role involves driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring junior team members while applying expertise in the relevant area.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- 2 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse operations at scale.
- Track record of leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI technologies to solve business problems.
- Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders to gather requirements, explain models, and iterate to make improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with a history of going above and beyond to make operational improvements and solve tough problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As an Enforcement Detection Analyst, you will be directly responsible for ensuring the effective identification and removal of disruptive content and users as quickly as possible, particularly within the YouTube Partner Program.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies and solutions to enforce YouTube policies at scale.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for effective abuse prevention and enforcement.
- Leverage Machine Learning and AI, as appropriate.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Engineering, Product, Policy, and Operations to drive complex anti-abuse solutions across various functional areas.
- Provide rapid incident response for abuse problems, operating independently.
- Analyze root causes and define and implement mitigation steps.
- Learn complex technical concepts and deliver meaningful results using them.
- Communicate technical results and methods clearly.
- Design and refine LLM solutions and agents to improve the accuracy of identifying and classifying abusive content and behavior.
