Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based at the Maihar plant.

The Electrical

Engineer will oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical equipment and systems within the manufacturing facility, including power distribution networks, motors, drives, and control panels. Daily responsibilities include monitoring electrical system performance, troubleshooting faults, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating with production, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Engineer will also contribute to electrical design changes, upgrade projects, and documentation to enhance reliability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including knowledge of Electricity and industrial electrical systems.
- Experience with Electrical Design for plant equipment, control systems, and layout modifications.
- Hands-on expertise in Power Distribution, including switchgear, transformers, and distribution panels.
- Understanding of Power Systems analysis, protection, and coordination in an industrial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing (cement, steel, or similar sectors) is preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical safety standards, codes, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond promptly to plant issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork in office.
