Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and execution of electrical systems and oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of engineering projects. This duel-role position is responsible for both the technical management of electrical design and the strategic oversight of project timelines, budgets and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Design Management:

· Lead the electrical design team in developing schematics, layouts, wiring diagrams and BOMS. · Oversee electrical system architecture, including power distribution, control system and safety compliance.

· Ensure all designs comply with industry codes (e.g. NEC, IEC,UL,CE) and company quality standards.

· Perform technical reviews, approve designs and manage change control processes.

· Collaborate with other Team Engineers. (Manufacturing/Automation/Service/Quality/Procurement) for integrated solutions

1. Project Planning & Execution:

· Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules with projects & production team. · Monitor progress, track design team performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.

· Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, Quality and Field Service for seamless project execution.

· Mange risks and issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns.

1. Cross functional Leadership:

· Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, project management and external stakeholders · Lead design review meetings, Project kickoffs and progress updates with clients and partners.

· Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

Other Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Management:

· Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and designers. · Assign projects, manage workloads and oversee timelines and deliverables.

· Facilitate regular design reviews and performance evaluations.

1. Project Oversight:





· Develop and manage electrical design projects from concept to implementation. · Ensure that all designs meet technical requirements, industrial regulations and customer specification.
1. Technical Expertise:

· Review and approve detailed electrical schematics, layouts and specifications. · Ensure proper selection and integration of components including power supplies, control systems and wiring.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical engineering technologies and best practice.

1. Quality and Compliance:

· Ensure designs comply with national and international standards (e.g. NEC, IEC, UL, CE) · Support testing, validation and certification of products.

· Maintain documentation for design process, revisions and test results

1. Budget & Resource Management :

· Manage departments budgets, timelines and resource allocations · Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives through efficient design practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

· BE/B.Tech in Electrical degree, full time from reputed institute/college/university

· Proficiency in design software (e.g Auto CAD Electrical, E Plan)

· Familiarity with Project management tools and techniques (e.g. Agile, PMP certification is plus)

· Solid understanding of electrical systems, control panels, circuit designs and power distribution

· Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

· Min 10 yrs experience in relevant field

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
