Position Overview

- Role: Drayage Dispatcher / Operations Specialist
- Location: Lathrop, California (Remote option available)
- Schedule: Consistent 5-day work week with steady, ongoing freight volume.
- Work Style: Easygoing yet independent—we empower our team to take ownership of their daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily drayage dispatches, tracking container movements efficiently to and from local ports and rail yards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers, clients, and brokers to maximize fleet utilization.
- Manage driver schedules to ensure timely pickups and deliveries while complying with hours-of-service regulations.
- Proactively resolve any transit, routing, or scheduling roadblocks.





Requirements & Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience in freight sales, dispatching, or logistics management.
- Strong understanding of port drayage operations, container tracking, and local lane economics.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while staying organized under pressure.
- Proficiency with modern dispatch software, load boards, and digital communication tools.
