/ Ai Overview Growels Softech is actively seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our dynamic team in Pune. This pivotal role involves contributing to critical water and wastewater treatment projects, ensuring precise and comprehensive technical drawings from conceptualization through to final execution.

As a Draughtsman, you will collaborate closely with design and project engineering teams, playing an essential part in delivering sustainable and effective solutions in the environmental engineering sector.

We are looking for a professional Draughtsman with a solid background in civil and mechanical draughtsmanship, passionate about making an impact in the water treatment industry. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings for various water retaining structures, including tanks, clarifiers, sumps, and channels, encompassing layouts, sections, and reinforcement details.




- Develop comprehensive General Arrangement (GA) drawings for Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and other associated process units.
- Draft precise piping layouts, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), isometric views, and critical pipe support details.
- Create advanced 3D models and efficiently extract fabrication and erection drawings required for project implementation.
- Incorporate design modifications, meticulously maintain revision control, and prepare accurate As-Built drawings post-project completion.
- Compile Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and perform material take-offs directly from technical drawings to support procurement.
- Coordinate effectively with on-site teams and external vendors to address and resolve any drawing-related queries or discrepancies.

Requirements

- Diploma or ITI certification specifically in Civil or Mechanical Draughtsmanship is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience as a Draughtsman, ideally within the water treatment or environmental engineering sector.
- Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for creating and modifying technical drawings.
- Proficiency in 3D modelling software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Revit, or Plant 3D is highly advantageous.
- Solid working knowledge of various piping components, fittings, and industry standards.




- Demonstrated ability to accurately read and interpret complex civil, structural, and mechanical engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with IS 3370 (Indian Standard for the design of water retaining structures) will be considered a significant plus.
- Prior experience in Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Water Treatment Plant (WTP), or EPC environmental engineering projects is preferred.
