Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator – E-commerce

Remote – India | Full-time Contract

Z3 Ventures Inc. is a Canadian company based in Ottawa, Ontario.

Our e-commerce brand, Z3 Finds, specializes in curated open-box, liquidation, overstock and value products for Canadian customers.

We are looking for a creative and highly motivated Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to help build and manage the digital presence of Z3 Finds.

This is a hands-on role. You will work directly with the founder and help manage social media, content, digital campaigns, Google presence, e-commerce marketing and online brand growth.

The initial engagement will be for 3 months, with the possibility of a longer-term role based on performance and business requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

- Manage and grow Z3 Finds across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube/YouTube Shorts and other relevant platforms.
- Maintain social profiles, bios, links, highlights, pages and brand information.
- Develop and maintain a consistent content calendar.
- Schedule and publish approved content.
- Monitor comments, messages and engagement and escalate customer issues when required.
- Maintain consistent Z3 Finds branding and communication across platforms.

CONTENT CREATION
- Create Reels, Shorts, Stories, posts, promotional graphics and product-focused content.
- Edit short-form videos using CapCut, Canva or similar tools.
- Turn product photos, videos, customer reviews, new arrivals and warehouse activities into engaging content.
- Develop captions, hooks, calls-to-action, hashtags and content concepts.
- Repurpose content appropriately across different platforms.

DIGITAL MARKETING & CAMPAIGNS
- Help plan and execute seasonal promotions, clearance campaigns, new-arrival campaigns and other marketing initiatives.
- Develop campaign concepts and creative assets.
- Assist with Shopify promotions, discount codes, collections and campaign landing-page coordination.
- Research opportunities for email marketing, customer retention and remarketing.
- Prepare ideas and creatives for Meta, Google and TikTok advertising campaigns.

Advertising budgets and paid campaign launches require management approval. GOOGLE & E-COMMERCE PRESENCE




- Help manage the Z3 Finds Google Business Profile.
- Publish appropriate Google Business updates, products, photos and promotional content.
- Monitor Google reviews and prepare professional responses.
- Assist with Google Merchant Center and Google Shopping product visibility.
- Identify and help resolve product-feed or listing issues.
- Help improve the connection between social media, Google and Z3Finds.com.

COMMUNITY & CREATOR MARKETING
- Research Canadian and Ottawa-area creators, micro-influencers and potential partners.
- Identify affiliate and creator collaboration opportunities.
- Research relevant online communities and potential promotional opportunities.
- Help develop user-generated content and customer testimonial strategies.

SEO & DISCOVERY
- Perform basic keyword and competitor research.
- Optimize social captions, titles, descriptions and content for discoverability.
- Research social-search trends and relevant Canadian e-commerce keywords.
- Help improve organic discovery of Z3 Finds products and content.

ANALYTICS & REPORTING
- Track social media reach, engagement, followers, video performance and website traffic.
- Monitor which content and campaigns generate meaningful customer activity.
- Prepare simple weekly performance reports.
- Recommend what Z3 Finds should continue, stop or test next based on results.

RESEARCH & CREATIVE IDEAS
- Monitor social media and e-commerce trends.
- Research competitors and successful Canadian retail/e-commerce brands.
- Regularly bring new content, campaign and growth ideas to the founder.

We want someone who thinks creatively — not someone who simply waits for instructions. AI-ASSISTED WORKFLOWS
- Use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or other appropriate AI tools for research, brainstorming, drafting and productivity.
- Review AI-generated work carefully before it is used.




- Look for opportunities to make repetitive marketing activities more efficient.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Fresh graduates and candidates with 0–2 years of experience are welcome.

We value practical ability, creativity and reliability more than years of experience.

Ideal candidates should have

- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook and short-form content
- Familiarity with TikTok and YouTube Shorts
- Good written English
- Canva skills
- Basic short-form video editing ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to research independently
- Creativity and willingness to experiment
- Ability to work independently in a remote workplace
- Interest in e-commerce and digital marketing
- Willingness to learn Canadian consumer behaviour

Experience with Shopify, Google Business Profile, Google Merchant Center, Google Shopping, Meta Business Suite, CapCut, SEO, analytics or AI tools is an advantage.

WORK REQUIREMENTS

- Own laptop/computer
- Reliable internet connection
- Comfortable using WhatsApp and online collaboration tools for business communication
- Able to work primarily during afternoon/evening hours in India with regular overlap with Canadian Eastern Time
- Able to work independently and provide regular progress updates

COMPENSATION

₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month

Final compensation will depend on skills, experience and demonstrated capabilities.

CONTRACT

Initial 3-month full-time contract.

Based on performance and business requirements, the engagement may be extended or considered for a longer-term position.
