Position: Engineer

Department: Design & Planning

Experience Required: 1 to 2 years

Role The Design & Planning Senior Engineer is responsible for preparing manufacturing drawings and BOMs (Bill of Materials) for projects, and issuing them to the respective departments or vendors along with job orders and costing, wherever required.

Responsibilities

- Check BOM in all aspects.
- Communicate with concerned personnel for any revisions or clarifications.
- Prepare BOM for special designs.
- Prepare production drawings for all required components.
- Prepare cutting plans wherever necessary.
- Prepare cut-out details as per requirement.
- Raise indents to the purchase department for brought-out components.
- Coordinate with all departments.
- Release drawings to vendors in case of outsourcing.
- Check vendor quotes and obtain approval from concerned personnel.
- Communicate and follow up with vendors.
- Prepare a mock-up for new designs and check all parameters.
- Maintain systematic records of all projects.
- Raise indents to store/purchase for any new requirements.




- Raise indents to store for issue of PO to vendors.
- Strictly adhere to project timelines as per requirement.
- Maintain knowledge of raw materials and processes followed.
- Actively participate by providing required data for organizational certifications.
- Report to Manager on daily activities.
- Perform any other tasks as required by management.

Prerequisites
- Must have knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be adaptable with working hours as required.
- Must have MS Office knowledge.
- Must handle confidential matters with appropriate discretion.

Qualification ITI / Diploma / BE — Mechanical Engineering

Experience

1 to 2 years in a similar Design & Planning role (manufacturing/engineering industry preferred)

Pay: ₹20,000.27 - ₹30,000.94 per month
