Key Responsibilities & Tasks

- Coordinate DVP&R; for the Restraints components (Seat belts, Airbags and Steering wheel)
- Creation of BOM and release components via CNs.
- CAD Data finalization of design before Step releases and TKO Packaging and clearance studies of Restraints components with the surrounding parts to make sure that part is within the specification.
- Coordinate with the CAE team to makes sure that the part is meeting the components target and meeting the functional requirements of the system Co-ordinate design release/TKO sign-off processes and ensure targets are met according to project timeline.
- Drives development with CFT and suppliers to meet MRD of Restraints parts and assemblies.
- Needs to travel to manufacturing plant for Build support & Supplier end for part development.
- Design and process validation, Homologation coordination
- Design release





Change management & PLM activities.

Preferred Experience

Essential:

- 4 to 6 years of Product Design & development experience in Seat belts, airbags and Steering Wheel
- Working experience in Component & System level design and development
- Knowledge in UG or CATIA modeling, Surfacing and Ennovia.
- Good Knowledge in Manufacturing & Assembly feasibility study.
- Work experience with International Tier 1 and OEMs.

Positive presentation and communication skills.

Desirable:

- Good knowledge on Manufacturing process

Project management and leadership skills

Preferred Education:

B.E./B. Tech or M.E/ M. Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Production and Industrial Engineering
