We are specifically looking for a Design Engineer with strong hands-on design experience and practical working knowledge of:
Autodesk Revit
Autodesk Navisworks
Autodesk AutoCAD
Candidates whose experience is only BIM modelling / drafting / BIM coordination without design-engineering exposure will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify engineering designs using Autodesk Revit
- Prepare and update engineering drawings using AutoCAD
- Work on 3D design/model development based on engineering drawings and project requirements
- Use Navisworks for model review, coordination and design validation
- Interpret 2D engineering drawings and translate design information into 3D models
- Review designs and incorporate engineering/project changes
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams
- Ensure accuracy, quality and adherence to project/design standards
- Support engineering deliverables and project timelines
Required Skills
- 3–6 years of relevant Design Engineering experience
- Solid hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit
- Hands-on experience with Autodesk AutoCAD
- Working experience with Autodesk Navisworks
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and design concepts
- Experience in 2D-to-3D design/model development
- Good design coordination and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Revit MEP / Electrical / Mechanical experience
- Design coordination experience
- Clash review / design validation using Navisworks
- Experience working on engineering/industrial/building projects
- Knowledge of Revit Families, Worksets and project documentation
