About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Business Analyst (Functional) to join our dynamic team at Tata Consultancy Services. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing and transforming Quote-to-Cash processes through Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of CPQ functionalities, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.

As a key liaison between business units, technical teams, and offshore delivery centers, you will lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design to ensure seamless integration and optimal utilization of Oracle CPQ capabilities. Your expertise will support the successful delivery of large-scale CPQ projects, enhancing sales efficiency and operational excellence across client organizations.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 10+ years of IT and business consulting experience, with at least 2 successful Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle CPQ Cloud features, including product configuration, pricing, discounting, quoting, approvals, document generation, renewals, and amendments.
- Proven experience in leading requirements workshops, fit-gap analyses, process walkthroughs, and conference room pilots for Quote-to-Cash initiatives.




- Excellent documentation skills to capture business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Ability to analyze current and future Quote-to-Cash processes, including lead-to-quote, quote-to-order, and contract management.
- Experience working with technical teams to ensure configurations and customizations meet business needs.
- Strong understanding of system integrations, including Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud, ERP, and CRM platforms.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to other CPQ platforms and domain applications as required.

Responsibilities

- Act as the functional liaison between business stakeholders, sales operations, product/pricing teams, IT teams, and offshore delivery units to gather, analyze, and document CPQ requirements.
- Lead requirement workshops, discovery sessions, and process walkthroughs to identify gaps and define solutions aligned with business goals.
- Document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
- Conduct analysis of current-state and future-state Quote-to-Cash processes, including pricing governance, approval workflows, renewals, amendments, and contract flows.
- Provide functional guidance on CPQ product modeling, configuration rules, pricing rules, quote layouts, and user experience design.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure configurations, customizations, and integrations align with approved requirements and design specifications.
- Support integration efforts with Salesforce,



Oracle Cloud applications, ERP, and other downstream systems, defining data flows and validation rules.
- Facilitate business reviews, sign-offs, and solution walkthroughs, ensuring stakeholder alignment and approval of deliverables.
- Support testing phases including SIT, UAT, and regression testing by preparing scenarios, reviewing scripts, and supporting defect management.
- Assist in user training, SOP documentation, and change management activities to ensure smooth adoption and post-go-live support.
- Analyze change requests, assess their impact, and support prioritization, effort estimation, and release planning.
- Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to manage deliverables, resolve issues, and ensure timely project completion.
- Deliver demonstrations, presentations, and process walkthroughs to clients and leadership teams for validation and feedback.
