Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry and Accounts Associate to support our export operations. The role involves maintaining accurate records of purchase orders and daily transactions, coordinating parcel bookings and shipment tracking, managing data across online portals, and handling basic accounting entries in Tally.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & Order Management

- Accurately enter purchase orders into the system on a daily basis
- Log and maintain records of daily sales/purchase orders
- Book parcels for domestic and international shipments (courier services such as DHL, FedEx, or postal/customs-bonded couriers as applicable)
- Track shipment status and follow up on delays or discrepancies Update and maintain data on relevant online portals (e.g., DGFT, ICEGATE, courier tracking portals, or company inventory systems)

Accounts (Tally)

- Record day-to-day accounting entries in Tally (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)




- Maintain ledgers and assist in reconciliation of accounts
- Prepare basic invoices, debit/credit notes as required Assist with GST-related entries and documentation (if applicable to exports)

- Support month-end/quarter-end accounts closing under supervision

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate (Commerce background preferred)
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime

- Proficiency in MS Excel and data entry
- Good typing speed and accuracy
- Basic understanding of export documentation and logistics is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Positive communication skills (for coordinating with couriers/vendors)

Experience 0-3 years (Freshers with Tally knowledge may also apply)

Preferred

Prior experience in a gems & jewellery / export-oriented firm

Familiarity with export documentation (invoice, packing list, shipping bill) is an added advantage
