Position: Counsellor

Experience:

Minimum 1+ Years of Experience in Student & Parent Counselling

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a confident, presentable and student-focused Counsellor who can effectively communicate with students and parents and guide them through their higher-education journey.

The ideal candidate should

- Have minimum 1+ years of experience in student and parent counselling.
- Be fluent and confident in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Gujarati will be an added advantage.
- Have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Be comfortable speaking with students and parents over the phone.
- Be capable of conducting online as well as face-to-face counselling sessions.
- Have a basic understanding of courses and admission processes after Class 12.
- Be able to understand student requirements and suggest relevant career, course and college options.
- Be confident in handling counselling conversations and addressing student/parent queries.
- Have a professional and approachable personality.
- Be comfortable with lead follow-ups, maintaining counselling records and working towards defined targets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:





- Reach out to student and parent leads through calls and other communication channels.
- Understand the student's academic background, interests, goals and requirements.
- Conduct telephonic, online and face-to-face counselling sessions.
- Provide guidance on career options, courses, colleges and admission pathways after Class 12.
- Explain admission-related information such as eligibility, entrance requirements, application process and timelines at a basic level.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents and maintain regular communication.
- Address queries and assist students throughout the counselling and decision-making process.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, counselling sessions, follow-ups and conversions.
- Coordinate with the internal team for student enquiries, events, counselling sessions and admissions.
- Participate in school, coaching-centre and education-related events whenever required.
- Work towards achieving individual and team counselling targets.

Candidate Profile:

Education: Graduate in any discipline

Experience: Minimum 1+ years in Student/Parent Counselling
