ABOUT THE ROLE

Good Old Delight (GOD) is looking for a Copywriter with a strong advertising agency background and a passion for ideas, storytelling and communication.

We are looking for someone who can think beyond writing — someone who can understand a brief, find the idea, develop the concept and turn it into communication that people remember.

The ideal candidate should have experience working on brand campaigns, social media, digital campaigns, real estate communication and advertising concepts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop creative concepts and campaign ideas based on client briefs.
- Write compelling copy for digital, social media, print, outdoor and advertising campaigns.
- Develop headlines, campaign lines, scripts, captions, taglines and brand communication.
- Work closely with Art Directors, Designers, Social Media and Account Management teams.
- Understand client objectives and translate them into creative communication.
- Develop content for real estate brands, projects and corporate brands.
- Write video scripts, reels, promotional films and digital content.
- Create communication for launches, campaigns, events and brand activations.
- Research brands, audiences, competitors and market trends to develop relevant ideas.
- Present creative concepts and explain the thinking behind the work.
- Work on multiple brands and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.




- Explore AI tools and emerging content formats to improve creative output.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 2–6 years of experience as a Copywriter in an advertising / creative agency.
- Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling ability.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of Hindi and Marathi is an advantage.
- Experience writing for social media and digital platforms.
- Ability to develop ideas, not just execute briefs.
- Strong understanding of advertising, branding and communication.
- Experience in real estate advertising will be an advantage.
- Ability to write short-form and long-form content.
- Good understanding of current social media trends and content formats.
- Comfortable working with designers and creative teams.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines in a quick-paced agency environment.
- A strong portfolio is mandatory.
