Consultant Ophthalmologist – Part Time / OPD

Work Schedule

- Part-Time: 4 to 6 hours per day
- Flexible working hours can be discussed
- OPD consultation-focused role
- Location: Periamet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Qualification
- MBBS with MS / DNB / DO in Ophthalmology
- Valid medical registration
- Relevant clinical experience preferred
- Fresh postgraduates with suitable clinical exposure may also be considered

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ophthalmology OPD consultations
- Examine and diagnose patients with various eye conditions
- Provide appropriate treatment and medical advice
- Review investigation and diagnostic reports
- Identify patients requiring surgery or specialist evaluation
- Refer patients appropriately for cataract, retina, glaucoma, cornea and other specialist services
- Explain diagnosis, treatment options and follow-up requirements to patients
- Maintain proper clinical documentation and patient records
- Coordinate with optometrists, nurses and other clinical staff




- Maintain high standards of patient care and professional ethics

- Patient-friendly approach
- Ability to independently manage routine ophthalmology OPD
- Teamwork and professional conduct

Compensation Salary / Consultation Fee: Negotiable based on qualification, experience and working hours.
