Role Summary

We are looking for a Head – Central University Engagement (CUE) to own the communication governance and information flow across the university.

The role will standardize communication templates, tone, messaging and channel usage across email, WhatsApp, social media, on-campus communication and other channels. The role will ensure that all important programs and events reach the right stakeholders, including students, parents, faculty and other relevant groups.

The CUE Head will also own the unified events calendar across all campuses, covering academic, curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities, providing leadership with a single view of all ongoing and upcoming events.

The role will operate through a hub-and-spoke model, where some communications may be executed directly by functions such as Parent Relationship or Student Relationship teams, while CUE maintains overall governance, standards, information flow and oversight.

Key Responsibilities

- Own communication governance, including tone, messaging, quality and communication standards across the university.
- Develop and maintain standardized templates for email, WhatsApp, social media, signage and other communication channels.
- Ensure programs and events reach all relevant stakeholders to drive awareness and participation.
- Audit and systemize the use of all communication channels and establish explicit channel-wise processes.
- Define the operating model for centrally executed versus team-executed communications.
- Coordinate with teams executing their own communications while maintaining CUE's overall oversight and standards.
- Build and maintain a unified end-to-end events calendar covering academic, curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular events across all campuses.
- Identify and activate new communication channels such as classroom screens, standees, kiosks and other emerging platforms.
- Hire,



train and manage a team of 4 CUE Executives, operating as a central shared pool with effective workload distribution.
- Work closely with Parent Relationship, Student Relationship, PSM, Program Operations and University Partnerships teams to ensure timely flow of information and events into CUE.
- Establish processes to collect updates and event information from multiple functions and maintain a single source of truth.
- Track and report communication reach, effectiveness, channel performance and events-calendar completeness to leadership.
- Provide leadership with a consolidated view of communication activities and events across the university.

Who We're Looking For

- Experience leading a central or company-wide communications function, rather than communications for a single team or location.
- Experience working in a hub-and-spoke communication model, setting standards and enabling other teams to execute effectively.
- Background in Corporate Communications, Branding, Media, Marketing Communications or a related field.
- Strong ability to manage communication standards and influence multiple independent teams.
- Comfortable acting as a single source of truth by consolidating inputs from multiple functions into one communication calendar and cadence.
- Channel-agnostic approach with experience across digital, social, email, WhatsApp, print and physical/on-campus communication channels.
- Ability to identify and adopt new communication channels and technologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Experience hiring, mentoring and managing a small central communications team.
- Comfortable managing a shared work queue and workload distribution rather than fixed individual territories.
