We are seeking a skilled VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC vertical machining centers. You will be responsible for manufacturing high-precision metal and plastic components according to engineering drawings and tight tolerance specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Machine Operation &
- Setup:

Set up and operate 3-axis and multi-axis VMC machines using control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Haas).

- Part Loading &

- Fixturing:

Secure raw materials, castings, or forgings using appropriate work-holding devices, vises, and custom fixtures.

- Tooling &

- Offsets:

Select, inspect, and set up cutting tools, drills, taps, and end mills. Load tool offset values and work coordinate offsets ($G54-G59$).

- Quality Inspection: Measure completed parts against technical drawings using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges to maintain required tolerances.

- Troubleshooting: Monitor machining operations, detect tool wear or malfunctions,



and make necessary speed/feed adjustments or minor G-code program edits.

- Routine Maintenance: Perform daily machine maintenance including checking coolant levels, oiling slides, clearing chips, and keeping work areas clean.

Qualifications &

- Requirements

- Education: High School Diploma, ITI/Vocational Certificate in Machinist/Tool &
- Die trade, or equivalent work experience.

- Experience: 2+ years of proven experience operating VMC/CNC machines in a manufacturing setting.

- Technical Skills:

- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, shop drawings, and GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols.

- Basic knowledge of G-code and M-code programming.

- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹33,294.70 per month
