Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Prepare CNC programs for CNC turning, and other CNC machines as required.

- Study engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders before programming.

- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, speeds, feeds, and machining methods.

- Develop and modify CNC programs using appropriate programming software or machine controllers.

- Set and prove out programs on machines and make necessary corrections.

- Optimize programs to improve productivity, cycle time, tool life, and machining accuracy.

- Ensure proper tool offsets, work offsets, and datum settings.

- Coordinate with the Production, Tool Room, Quality, and Design/Engineering departments.

- Troubleshoot machining and programming problems during production.

- Check first-piece components and coordinate with Quality for approval.

- Maintain CNC programs, revision records, tool lists, and setup sheets.

- Ensure programs are prepared according to approved drawings and process requirements.





- Support operators during machine setup and production.

- Identify opportunities to reduce machining time, tool consumption, and rejection.

- Ensure safe machining practices and follow company safety procedures.

- Maintain proper documentation of programs and process changes.

- Assist in developing recent components and improving existing machining processes.

- Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.

Required Skills

- CNC programming knowledge

- G-code and M-code knowledge

- CNC turning / VMC programming

- Knowledge of cutting tools and machining processes

- Ability to read engineering drawings

- Knowledge of GD&T; is preferred

- Knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
