We are a boutique cross-border M&A; and investment advisory practice focused on connecting Indian businesses with Chinese capital and strategic partners .

In partnership with a leading China-focused M&A; consultancy, we advise Chinese companies exploring the Indian market and Indian businesses seeking strategic investment and partnership opportunities.

We are looking for a Client Engagement & Deal Coordination Lead to manage day-to-day deal execution, client relationships, and coordination between Indian and Chinese stakeholders.

This is a senior, high-ownership role suited to someone who enjoys working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment and wants to help build a cross-border advisory practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end cross-border deal coordination , including timelines, documentation, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for Indian and Chinese clients and counterparties .
- Coordinate closely with the China-side partner on deal pipeline, mandates, client requirements, and execution.
- Manage external legal, tax, regulatory, financial, and M&A; advisors engaged on transactions.
- Support deal structuring, commercial discussions, term sheets, and due diligence .
- Review and synthesize due diligence findings and prepare clear updates for senior management and clients.
- Maintain an updated pipeline of live mandates, prospects, and strategic partnerships .
- Develop simple and effective processes to ensure smooth execution across multiple concurrent transactions.




- Travel internationally, including to China , as required for business and transaction needs.

Candidate Profile
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in:
- M&A; / Investment Banking
- Big 4 Transaction Advisory
- Corporate Development
- Private Equity / Investment Advisory
- Mid-market M&A; Advisory
- Experience working on at least one cross-border transaction involving international counterparties.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, transaction economics, due diligence, and deal processes .
- Excellent stakeholder and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of preparing memos, term sheets, presentations, and client correspondence .
- Comfortable interacting with senior management, promoters, investors, advisors, and international stakeholders .
- Willingness to travel internationally, including to China, when required.
- Mandarin language skills will be an advantage , but are not mandatory.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership, discretion, and commercial judgement.
