Role Description: This is a full-time, in office chemist role based in Taloja, Navi Mumbai. The chemist will perform routine laboratory testing, analysis, and characterization of specialty solvents and pharmaceutical intermediates, following established methods and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include supporting quality control activities, documenting test results, maintaining lab instruments, and assisting with troubleshooting product or process issues. The role also involves contributing to research and development projects, such as method development, formulation support, and process optimization.



The chemist will collaborate with production, QA, and R&D; teams to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills, including handling chemicals safely, preparing solutions, and operating standard analytical instruments.
- Candidates should possess quality control expertise, with experience in routine testing, documentation, and adherence to ISO/TSA/REACH.
- Candidates should possess robust analytical skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and supporting root-cause analysis.
- Candidates should possess research and development (R&D;) and research skills, including method development, experiment design, and reporting findings clearly.
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in organic chemistry is required for the role.
- Familiarity with the chemical industry or pharmaceutical intermediates and knowledge of safety, regulatory, and environmental practices.
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications for data entry, report preparation, and laboratory information management systems is beneficial.
