Job Summary:

The Restaurant Cashier is responsible for accurately handling customer bills, payments, cash transactions, and POS operations while providing friendly and efficient service to guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and process customer bills accurately.
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and other payment methods.
- Operate the restaurant POS and billing system.
- Verify bills, discounts, taxes, and promotions before accepting payment.
- Issue receipts and provide correct change to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales and transactions.
- Perform cash counting and cash reconciliation at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Handle refunds, cancellations, and void transactions according to company procedures.
- Coordinate with restaurant staff regarding orders, bills, and payment issues.
- Respond politely to customer questions and billing concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter.
- Follow company policies for cash handling, security,



and financial controls.
- Report discrepancies or payment-related issues to the supervisor or manager.
- Assist the restaurant team during busy periods when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Basic knowledge of POS and billing systems.
- Good numerical and cash-handling skills.
- Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Preferred Experience 1–2 years of experience as a cashier in a restaurant, hotel, café, or retail setting.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
