Job Title: Lead Career Counselor

Location: Hyderabad

Reporting To: CEO & President

Experience: Senior-level (Master's preferred in Career Counseling, Psychology, Education, or related field)

About the Role

Lead career guidance and higher-education support for students across three school campuses in Hyderabad. This role combines one-on-one career counseling, college admissions guidance, IB PYP curriculum development, and academic quality assurance — working closely with students (Grades 8-12), parents, teachers, and university partners.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Conduct individual and group career counseling sessions; guide students on subject selection, higher-education pathways, entrance exams, and scholarships
- Support students in building college applications, SOPs, resumes, and interview preparation; act as point of contact for university representatives
- Plan and run career talks, workshops, career fairs, and university visits across campuses
- Conduct parent orientation sessions and address individual queries on academic and career direction
- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, student outcomes, and career-readiness reports for leadership
- Collaborate with Principals, Coordinators,



and teachers to integrate career awareness into classroom learning
- Develop and align curriculum content with the IB PYP framework alongside PYP Coordinators
- Conduct periodic academic audits across campuses, reviewing unit planners, assessments, and teaching practices
- Plan and facilitate teacher training and mentor new educators in inquiry-based planning
- Analyze student and academic data to identify gaps and recommend improvements
- Support IB evaluation visits, documentation, and policy implementation across campuses

What We're Looking For

- Master's degree in Career Counseling, Psychology, Education, Management, or related field (preferred)
- Experience in career counseling, school counseling, college admissions, or student development
- Solid understanding of Indian and international higher-education pathways
- Experience with IB PYP curriculum, academic coordination, or programme implementation strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple campuses

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
