Role Description The Business Development Manager role at PoliciCue Insurance Brokers is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The individual in this role will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, and promote the company’s portfolio of insurance products. Daily responsibilities include meeting prospective customers, understanding their insurance needs, preparing proposals, and negotiating terms to close deals.

The Business Development

Manager will collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, coordinate with claims and customer service teams to support client satisfaction,



and track sales performance against targets. The role also involves market research, participation in local networking events, and regular reporting on pipeline, sales activities, and market feedback to senior leadership.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in business development, sales, and client relationship management, with the ability to build and grow a robust pipeline.
- Proficiency in communication, negotiation, and presentation, with the capacity to explain insurance products clearly and persuasively.
- Solid understanding of insurance products (health, life, motor) and basic knowledge of regulatory requirements and market trends.
- Competence in using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and digital communication platforms to manage leads and reporting.
- Proven ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; prior experience in insurance or financial services business development is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on customer-centric solutions and long-term relationship building.
