Business Development and Client Strategy Associate

KCAPL is looking for an MBA professional who is commercially driven, valuable with people, curious about business and excited about using AI to improve how we work.

What you will do

- Manage client communication, follow-ups and support retainer-based engagements.
- Understand client businesses and help develop practical growth and business strategies.
- Bring new clients and develop long-term business relationships.
- Identify additional requirements and opportunities to expand client relationships.
- Track client interactions, feedback and follow-ups systematically.
- Research and learn the sectors in which KCAPL provides advisory and business services.
- Support PR, marketing, presentations, proposals, LinkedIn content and client pitches.
- Support articles, webinars, events and other thought-leadership initiatives.
- Help build systems for client follow-ups, relationship management and retention.
- Identify practical ways to use AI across business development, research, marketing, operations, documentation and client servicing.
- Work closely with the leadership team on new ventures,



ideas and business opportunities.

What we are looking for

- MBA in Marketing, Business Strategy, Finance, HR or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commercial mindset with an ability to understand what a client actually needs.
- Strong relationship-building and follow-up skills.
- Basic understanding of HR, PR and business strategy.
- Genuine interest in learning about different businesses and industries.
- Comfortable using AI tools and willing to continuously learn new ones.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Proactive, organized and willing to take ownership rather than wait for instructions.
- Professional and confident when interacting with clients and external stakeholders.
