About the Role

SproutZen is looking for a curious, analytical, and business-minded Business Analysis & Research Intern who is interested in understanding how businesses operate, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing practical business strategies.

This internship is ideal for a final-year undergraduate student who wants hands-on exposure to business research, market analysis, strategy development, problem-solving, and business growth planning.

We are looking for someone who enjoys asking questions such as: Why does this business model work? What can be improved? What new opportunities exist? How can a company increase its market reach, revenue, or operational efficiency?

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed research on different businesses, industries, markets, and emerging business opportunities.
- Analyze existing business models and identify their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and potential challenges.
- Research and suggest new business ideas, revenue opportunities, and growth strategies for SproutZen.
- Study competitors and understand their business models, pricing, services, marketing strategies, and market positioning.
- Identify problems within a business or market and research practical solutions.
- Develop recommendations for improving business processes, customer acquisition, market expansion, and overall business performance.
- Conduct market research and prepare structured reports, presentations, and business insights.
- Research current business trends, technologies, startups, and innovative business models.
- Support management in evaluating the feasibility of new projects and business opportunities.




- Participate in brainstorming and strategy discussions and confidently present research findings and recommendations.
- Be willing to take ownership of research assignments and explore unfamiliar business topics independently.

Skills We Are Looking For
- Strong interest in business, entrepreneurship, strategy, and market research.
- Good analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to conduct independent research using reliable sources.
- Ability to convert research findings into practical business recommendations.
- Basic understanding of business models, SWOT analysis, market analysis, competitor analysis, and business development.
- Positive written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, and online research tools.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to learn, experiment, take feedback, and work on different business challenges.

Preferred Candidate

We particularly welcome final-year undergraduate students pursuing BBA, B.Com, BBM, Economics, Business Analytics, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Finance, Agriculture Business Management, or related programs.

Previous professional experience is not mandatory. We value curiosity, research ability, business thinking, consistency, and willingness to learn.
