Be at the forefront of our flagship product

- a browser extension that rivals industry leaders like Push Security, Surf Security, LayerX, and Island.io. As our lead Browser Extension Developer, you'll take this product from a basic concept to a robust, production-ready solution.

What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, and maintain browser extensions across multiple platforms (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
- Craft a secure and high-performing extension that protects users from online threats.

- Integrate advanced security features to shield users from phishing, malware, and data breaches.
- Navigate the ever-changing cybersecurity landscape, ensuring the extension stays ahead of the curve.
- Guarantee seamless functionality across different browsers and versions.

- Partner with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to build a cohesive experience.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment by participating in code reviews and offering constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to create an intuitive and user-friendly interface.

- Optimize extension performance to minimize impact on browser speed and resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues or problems identified during testing.

We're looking for someone who:

- Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.




- Boasts 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on web technologies.

- Has a proven track record of creating and deploying browser extensions.
- Understands browser extension APIs and development frameworks (Chrome Extensions, Firefox Add-ons, WebExtensions, etc.)
- Possesses experience in cybersecurity or building security-focused applications (a plus!).

Technical Skills are a must!

- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Strong understanding of web technologies and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS).

- Awareness of secure coding practices and common web vulnerabilities (XSS, CSRF, injection attacks).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Bonus points for experience with backend technologies (Node.js, RESTful APIs)

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative settings

- Passion for staying current with emerging technologies and trends.

Bonus Points:

- Experience with cybersecurity companies or products similar to Push Security, Surf Security, LayerX, or Island.io.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools for browser extensions.
- Knowledge of user authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).

- Understanding of privacy and compliance standards related to data handling (GDPR, CCPA).
