Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated General Duty Assistant (GDA) Trainer to deliver theoretical and practical training under the DDU-GKY skill development program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing candidates from rural backgrounds for healthcare and bedside assistance roles according to Sector Skill Council (SSC) and Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Training Delivery: Conduct interactive lectures and practical hands-on demonstrations covering patient care, basic nursing procedures, vital signs monitoring, hygiene maintenance, infection control, and emergency response.

- Curriculum &
- Lesson Planning:

Plan daily and weekly lesson schedules aligned with the SSC/NSQF curriculum for General Duty Assistant training.

- Classroom &

- Lab Management:

Oversee and maintain the Healthcare Skill Lab, ensuring all equipment, mannequins, medical supplies, and first-aid tools are functional and used safely.

- Assessment &

- Evaluation:

Evaluate trainees regularly through viva, practical demonstrations, and written tests; maintain tracking registers for attendance and module completions.

- DDU-GKY Compliance: Maintain accurate training records, batch documentation, attendance registers, and audio-visual proofs in accordance with DDU-GKY guidelines and audit requirements.





- Student Mentorship &

- Soft Skills:

Mentor trainees in soft skills, workplace ethics, basic English communication, and qualified hygiene to ensure job-readiness.

- Placement Support: Assist the placement team during mock interviews, candidate evaluations, and industry exposure visits to hospitals, clinics, or nursing homes.

Eligibility Criteria &

- Qualifications

- Education: B.Sc Nursing / GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from a recognized university/institution.

- Experience:

- Minimum 4-5 years of clinical/hospital experience OR relevant teaching/training experience in a healthcare skill development project (DDU-GKY, PMKVY, or similar government schemes).

- Certifications: Training of Trainer (ToT) certified by Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) is highly preferred.

- Competencies

- Strong knowledge of patient care procedures, medical terminology, safety protocols, and ethics.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Hindi and the local language.

- Patience and ability to handle candidates from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

- Proficient in basic computer usage (MS Office, emails) for documentation purposes.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
