Role & responsibilities

- Manage operation and performance of multiple high-pressure and high-temperature boilers.

- Handle steam turbine operations.

- Ensure safe, reliable and productive boiler and turbine operations across manufacturing sites.

- Monitor boiler parameters, steam generation, fuel consumption, efficiency and overall performance.

- Lead boiler start-up, shutdown, troubleshooting and emergency handling.

- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance coordination for boilers, turbines and associated equipment.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to boilers and maintain all necessary records and documentation.

- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Electrical and other departments for smooth plant operations.

- Lead and guide boiler operators and operating teams.





- Identify opportunities for improving boiler efficiency, reducing fuel consumption and optimizing steam and power generation.

- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, operating standards and statutory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- 10+ years of relevant experience in boiler operations and steam turbine handling, preferably in chemical/process manufacturing.

Boiler Engineer Proficiency

Certificate is mandatory.

- Hands-on experience with higher capacity high pressure boilers and multiple boiler systems.

- Experience in handling higher-capacity steam turbines will be an added advantage.
