Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and patient-focused Blood Collection Technician (BCT) to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for collecting blood and other clinical samples safely and accurately while following laboratory procedures, safety standards, and patient-care protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform blood collection and other sample collection procedures safely and accurately.
- Handle patients professionally and ensure a comfortable sample collection experience.
- Properly label, verify, handle, and maintain collected samples.
- Ensure samples are collected and transported according to established procedures.
- Follow infection-control, hygiene, and laboratory safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of patient and sample collection details.
- Check sample quality and report any discrepancies or issues to the concerned team.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the sample collection area and equipment.
- Handle blood collection materials, tubes, needles, and other required equipment responsibly.
- Coordinate with laboratory and operations teams for timely sample processing.
- Follow company SOPs and quality standards at all times.
- Support home/sample collection activities when required.

Educational Qualification




- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or DMLT.
- Freshers are eligible to apply.
- Candidates with prior experience in blood collection, sample collection, or phlebotomy will be an added advantage.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of blood/sample collection procedures.
- Good patient-handling and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory safety and hygiene.
- Ability to handle patients professionally.
- Willingness to travel for sample collection, if required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Good coordination and time-management skills.
- Ability to follow SOPs and instructions.
- Responsible handling of patient and sample information.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to laboratory processes.
