We are seeking a detail-oriented Biomedical - Procurement Executive to manage the sourcing, evaluation, and purchasing of medical and diagnostic equipment. The role involves vendor negotiation, compliance with regulatory standards, and ensuring cost-effective, timely acquisition of biomedical devices and consumables.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and contact international suppliers/manufacturers for biomedical/medical equipment
- Prepare purchase requisitions, RFQs/RFPs, and comparative cost analyses
- Negotiate pricing, warranty terms, and service contracts with suppliers
- Coordinate with biomedical engineering and clinical teams to understand equipment specifications and needs
- Track order status, delivery timelines, and manage vendor relationships
- Maintain procurement records, asset registers, and warranty/AMC documentation
- Evaluate new vendors and equipment for quality, pricing, and after-sales support
- Manage annual maintenance contracts (AMCs)

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering,Business, or Supply Chain preferred)
- [2]+ years of experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably international sourcing or import procurement
- Strong negotiation and vendor communication skills
- Positive written and spoken English for international correspondence
- Proficiency in MS Excel, email correspondence, and ERP/procurement software
- Ability to work with vendors across different time zones
- Knowledge of medical equipment standards (FDA/CE/ISO) is a plus
