We work with hospitals and healthcare professionals to ensure reliable functioning, timely service, and proper utilization of medical equipment.

Job Role

We are looking for a Biomedical Engineer who will be responsible for the regular inspection, servicing, preventive maintenance, and technical support of medical equipment installed at our consignee/hospital locations. The engineer will also act as a key point of contact between M.V. Meditech and hospital staff , ensuring excellent service and maintaining strong professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities Visit assigned consignee/hospital locations once every 3 months for scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment inspection. Inspect medical equipment for proper functioning, performance, safety, and general condition. Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) and basic corrective maintenance as required.

Identify technical problems and troubleshoot equipment efficiently. Attend service complaints and coordinate with the internal team for timely resolution. Maintain proper service records, maintenance reports, checklists, and equipment history .

Ensure all equipment is functioning according to manufacturer specifications.



Coordinate with hospital biomedical departments, doctors, nurses, technicians, and other authorized staff. Provide basic user guidance/training to hospital staff wherever required.

Maintain good professional relationships with hospital and consignee staff. Collect feedback from hospital staff regarding equipment performance and service requirements. Identify upcoming maintenance, spare-part, repair, or replacement requirements and report them to the company.

Ensure timely follow-up of pending service issues until closure. Coordinate with manufacturers/service partners whenever specialized technical support is required. Maintain a proper schedule of all hospital visits and ensure that periodic visits are completed on time.

Prepare and submit visit reports after every hospital visit. Support installation, commissioning, demonstration, and handover of current medical equipment when required. Maintain professional conduct and represent M.V.

Meditech positively at all hospital locations.

Required Skills Good knowledge of medical and biomedical equipment . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills.



Ability to interact professionally with doctors, nurses, biomedical engineers, hospital administrators, and technicians.

Good documentation and reporting skills. Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel. Ability to independently plan and manage hospital visits. Willingness to travel to different consignee locations across Pune and Maharashtra .

Qualification B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering preferred. Diploma/Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related technical field may also be considered depending on experience.

Experience 0–2 years of experience in biomedical equipment service/maintenance preferred. Freshers with good technical knowledge and willingness to travel may also be considered.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be technically sound, responsible, well-mannered, and comfortable working in hospital environments . The person should have a service-oriented approach and understand that maintaining a strong relationship with hospital staff is an important part of the role.

Travel: Regular travel to consignee/hospital locations will be required.

Salary: As per experience and industry standards.
