We are looking for an experienced Billing Engineer to handle measurement, billing, and cost control activities for power transmission line and substation projects. The role involves preparing running bills, verifying quantities, and coordinating with project and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely billing.

Role & responsibilities

- Prepare and process RA bills, final bills, and client invoices.
- Take site measurements and verify quantities as per drawings and BOQs.
- Handle billing for transmission line and substation works (civil & electrical).
- Coordinate with site, planning, contracts, and finance teams.
- Track work progress vs. billed quantities and costs.
- Prepare reconciliation statements and billing-related MIS reports.
- Support audits, certifications, and billing approvals.




- Ensure compliance with contract terms and billing procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong experience in billing and quantity verification for power projects.
- Good understanding of BOQs, drawings, and contract provisions.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and meet billing timelines.
- Solid analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Education

- BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

Experience

- 12 - 15 years of experience (Preferred)
- Relevant experience in the Power Industry, specifically:

- Transmission Line Projects

- Substation Projects
