About the role

We manage a large multi-site manpower and facility management operation. The single most important control in this business is making sure every rupee of wage cost we pay out is correctly billed and collected from the client — on the right rate, under a valid PO, in the right month.

This role owns that end-to-end. It is not a general accounting seat. You will chase, verify and escalate, and you will be measured on billed-vs-entitled value and collection ageing.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain a versioned rate card for every site and client contract; update rates immediately on minimum wage notifications and get revised POs issued
- Ensure no site operates without a valid, current PO — track expiry and initiate renewal before the service month begins
- Reconcile each site each month: attendance → billable manpower → invoice raised → amount collected; investigate every variance
- Raise invoices on time and follow up with client billing teams and site in-charges until payment is received
- Track and transparent credit notes, deductions and client adjustments
- Manage statutory documentation supporting billing — PF and ESI challans, CLRA registers,



wage registers — and coordinate with our compliance partner
- Maintain the AR ageing report and escalate overdue accounts weekly to management
- Support the security deposit and retention money recovery cycle

Requirements

- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
- 3–7 years in billing or accounts, preferably in facility management, manpower, security, housekeeping or staffing — you must have worked with client POs, attendance-based billing and minimum wage rate revisions
- Strong working knowledge of Tally, advanced Excel (lookups, pivots, reconciliation), GST and TDS
- Working familiarity with PF, ESI and professional tax as they relate to contract manpower billing
- Willing to follow up persistently with client teams and site staff — this is a chasing role, not a desk-only role
- Based in Kolkata or willing to relocate

Good to have

- Experience with multi-state billing and state-wise minimum wage schedules
- Exposure to IPC/IFM clients (JLL, CBRE, Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield) and their vendor billing portals
- Payroll or HRMS software experience (greytHR, Zoho, factoHR)

Pay: ₹22,024.01 - ₹52,609.89 per month
