nJob Purpose:

n

nThe Applications Development Lead Programmer is a position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems. The programmer in this job should be in coordination with the Technology Team and work in an agile methodology to deliver the application. This role requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.

Requires good analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.

nThe overall objective of this role is to contribute to application system analysis and programming activities.

n

nOperating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships:

n

nExpert level knowledge and understanding in JAVA Spring boot, Spring Framework stack.

nDeep understanding of microservices, design patterns and best practices to implement.

nKnowledge of relational database systems SQL, Oracle and NO SQL databases key-value, Graph, document, and Column-family.

n





nHands-on experience in building secure RESTful APIs and understanding of API performance tuning.

n

nKnowledge, Skills and Experience

nProficiency in core java and good working knowledge of spring boot, microservices.

nDeep knowledge of Object-Oriented programing and engineering principles like

nSOLID

n

nExperience with database systems, with knowledge of SQL and NoSQL stores (e.g.

nMySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase, etc.)

n

nStrong understanding of Agile development principles.

nThorough understanding of the responsibility of the platform, database, API,

ncaching layers, proxies used in system.

n

nWriting non-blocking code and retrose advanced techniques using multithreading.

nwell versed with C/CD pipelines and actively involved in solving trouble shotting

nissues in distributed systems.

n

nunderstanding of single sign on or token-based authentication (rest, JWT and oauth)

nStrong proficiency in java data structures, algorithm, and design patterns.

nhands on experience in performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring.

nExperience in coding, security best practices, unit testing as per the standards.

nEnsure quality of technical and application architecture, design of systems across

nthe organization.

n

nBanking or retails domains knowledge is good to have.
