Job Role : AWS Solution Architect - Rust

We are looking for an experienced AWS Solution Architect - Rust to lead the architecture and technical direction of a Rust-based, API-first microservices platform on AWS.

The role will act as the onsite cloud architecture authority and primary technical interface for business, product, engineering, security, infrastructure and operations stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS Cloud Architecture, Microservices, Distributed Systems, API Architecture and Cloud-Native Platforms, along with working knowledge of Rust-based backend services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own the end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-native applications deployed on AWS.
- Translate business requirements and non-functional requirements (NFRs) into scalable, secure and reliable AWS solutions.
- Engage with business, product, enterprise architecture, security, infrastructure and operations stakeholders.
- Define architecture patterns, technology choices, integration approaches, data architecture and deployment topology.
- Lead architecture discussions across onsite and offshore engineering teams.
- Define and align Rust microservice boundaries, API contracts and integration patterns.
- Lead architecture workshops and document Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
- Evaluate architecture trade-offs involving cost, performance, scalability, reliability, security and maintainability.




- Review solution designs, technical specifications and implementation approaches.
- Drive security/threat-model reviews, NFR sign-off and production-readiness decisions.
- Design and approve AWS architectures using appropriate AWS services.
- Ensure observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, SLOs and operational ownership are defined before production release.
- Coordinate performance testing, resilience testing, disaster recovery and security remediation.
- Provide technical escalation leadership during integration, pre-production and major production incidents.
- Mentor engineering teams and promote cloud and distributed-system best practices.

Required Experience :

- 12+ years of overall software/cloud engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture / Cloud Architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Architecture.
- Solid experience designing Microservices and Distributed Systems.
- Experience with API-first and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong understanding of AWS Well-Architected principles.
- Working knowledge of Rust-based backend/microservices applications.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, reliability and observability.
- Experience working with onsite/offshore distributed engineering teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
